Isn't my baby brother the absolute cutest ever!?! I love it when he falls asleep in my arms, it's definitely the coolest feeling by far. Even cooler is the fact that he's been smiling and cooing like crazy! He's as talkative as me! And that's saying something! I think he should join the speech and debate team he would definitely win!

So I started my Daddy Day Care time on the 11th. After taking Chase to school, Lane had a Doctor Appointment "a date with the needle" yep that's right the first big battery of innoculation took place. two in the right leg one in the left and oh an oral medicine of some sort. "yum". So I've been on scene for all of the initial traumas in his life. Hope he doesn't remember. Hope he never uses association if he does. I sure love him. "Sorry Big guy! Daddy loves you."

Word's can't even begin to explain our day... but I'll try anyways =]

So today... Mr.Lane went with us on a doctors visit and I (Kendra) was left to babysit the little darling. It was going great for the first 5 minutes... but then after eating he threw up. Then after getting all cleaned up he pooped. Well... maybe pooped isn't the right word, he EXPLODED! And I was covered. So I ran into the room where my mom was and she got up and came out laughing at me. But wait, there's more... After getting the little one all undressed and ready for a changing, he promptly started PEEING all over us and even into moms purse! Oh and to top it all off, he was laughing the whole time!

Chase and the baby have really been bonding lately which needless to say, is very awesome. today we all went to Circus Circus and got to hangout (but those pictures are for another blog...).

Lane is only a month old but already hes getting so big and strong! At the moment he is currently working on his fourth chin which in my opinion, is pretty darn impressive! Hes already quite the break dancer due to his daily dance lessons =] Hes my little doll and he loves the attention =]

Daily adventures.

Baby's new weight 12.5 lbs (of love). I just can't stop looking at him. Everyday, is a new adventure. Lane becomes more alert and active everyday. His motor skills are amazing. His ability to fill a diaper is astounding as well (woe). And who could possibly resist that smile. I love him.

...an awesome surprise. Thank you Ben and Bethany we sooooo love the "towel hoody". And the flowers were so BEEE YOUUUU TEEE FULL!

2 weeks old and rolling over

Ok, I don't wanna brag but....I will. Lane at age 12 days 4 hours 3 minutes 8 seconds, has actually begun rolling over. When KIm mentioned this to the Doctor at the last check up, she said that it probably wouldn't happen again for quite awhile. Kim said "tell that to him he's done it six times now. So I just want to reiterate that my little Noble Prize winning, Olympic gold metalist Full back (soccer), Piano playing, song writing fellow is just doing wonderfully...Oh and Doctor...!!! I just wish we could get this potty training underway, I'm starting to think it may be holding him back from his true calling in life.

It's really been a trying couple of weeks! I've been prodded, poked, stuck, cut, trimmed, clipped and even had to endure the indignation of wearing illuminating britches. Then there's this guy?! Think I'll take it ease for awhile. Hmmm, what's for lunch?

Lane is probably the most beautiful baby ever! We took him on his first shopping trip ever and he slept right through it, but hes cute so its okay =] We bought a few cute outfits at once upon a child and when we got home, we were surprised to receive a bizillion adorable outfits from my aunt Carrie! =] Oh, and accessories =] This little boy sure likes to pee, he even has his own song "Lane drops keep falling on my head..." Its quite cute =] That little guy has the softest skin ever!!! And he smells amazing! =] I've never seen someone sleep so much! but he's quite adorable when hes waking up! =]

It's a beautiful baby boy! He was born at 9 pds, 2 1/2 ounces and he is perfectly healthy! =] Mom was in labor for about 9 hours!!! But babys home and everything is going great!

An all natural child birth? Do people still do them? Yes, my Kim does. This baby is narcotic free. She didn't even take Asprin while she was pregnant. That would be why he was so alert and energetic when he made his appearance. 9lbs of baby is another good indication. Ok, does induction still count as natural? Sure it does! The pain she experienced was every bit as real. It ripped my heart out to stand there and see Kim in so much pain and be unable to do anything to really help her. I love you baby!

Tomorrow is officially B-day! =] Who's excited!?! I know I am! =]Mom and Brian are heading to the hospital at 5 am tomorrow morning to give birth to my amazing new sibling! Here are the baby details: Est weight 8Pd's 9 ounces, Above average head and belly, and the biggest cheeks the doctors have ever seen =] I can't believe how close the baby is, it seems like we had just found out about it yesterday =]
